Is this a significant find? Will the identification of the source of the coal help shed light on the Oak Island Mystery? The research to find out a more precise origin will take some time, but there are hopes that it will shed light on where and when the coal was transported to Oak Island and who did the transporting. Tonight they talked about the origin of the coal and it seems that it probably came from Europe. They have found a lot of coal scattered along the path of the road. This year they have also been excavating a road leading out of the swamp up toward the Money Pit area. Will they come closer to finding the Money Pit? This week they seemed to be closing in on finding the location as they pulled up remains of a tunnel thought to be near it. I enjoy the mix of mystery, history, excavation, archaeology and technology that is seen in each episode.
